Your Mom is beautiful! Receiving mail is definitely a lost form of communication. I try as much as possible to send mail to friends and family, even if it's just a quick postcard. It's surprising and always makes me smile :)
I recently got photos of my late grandmother and they are such a wonderful thing to see. How amazing is it to see photos of your family before you existed? It's so cool that you have a photo as special as their wedding day :)
Awww I love old pictures! Thats awesome you still communicate with your friends via the good old post office. I used to have pen pals when I was younger, and still enjoy sending friends the occasional note in the mail. Especially now that many of my friends now live in different states!
Awww I love looking at pictures of my parents from when they were younger. I have one of my parent's wedding day too. I agree with you on getting actual mail, it's so much better than a text or email.

And getting packages and postcards from my family while they were away in Europe was the biggest buzz. Getting packages in general is just wonderful!
