A heat wave in Los Angeles, 104 fahrenheit. It's always cooler by the water, it's as though we escape the heat for an afternoon. Lunch at the Malibu Beachcomber. On the menu, crab cakes with romoulade+shaved fennel, blackened fish tacos,and traditional fish and chips. It was simply delicious. Kim

that meal sounds crazy delicious, and i love love love that Alexander album. i don't think it's gotten up to 104 down here, but still way too hot for my liking! :)
Crab cakes are the perfect summertime meal. 104 degrees, though? That's CRAZY! (Especially since it's really starting to cool down here in New England!)
oh that place looks absolutely incredible! 104... wow! that's about 40 degrees in Celsius!
