Seaside Lunch
3/12/12
andre suggested we eat at malibu seafood on our way to zuma for our beach date on friday. this is a great place to satisfy a hungry belly. the fish and chip were pretty close to perfection while andre's ahi burger was devoured (by the both of us) within a few minutes. I'd say lunch here was a very good idea. i left the restaurant smiling; a great feeling these days.
thank you everyone for the comments and prayers on this post; i'm overwhelmed by everyone's kindness

these photos are beautiful, and that food looks seriously incredible! it's not even 830AM yet but i am totally craving an ahi burger right now! :)
@Jocee- the restaurant is called Malibu Seafood and it's located right on the pacific coast highway. :)
I LOVE Malibu Seafood! We used to go there all the time in college. Now I'm craving it again.

great photos! and looks like a great day. I hope you're doing alright.

I also hope you are holding up okay. I'm sure the days can be long and at times things seem surreal. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Those are some scrumptious photos of your seaside lunch...you're making me hungry! lol. I never had an ahi anything and didn't know that seafood burgers existed. Maybe I can find a place that makes them here on the East Coast, so I can try one. It would be a nice change from the veggie burgers that I scarf down every now and then.
It's nice that you took some time to take in the sunshine, complete with a lovely view from your lunch table.

kim - i'm kinda in love with these photos. the turquoise contrasted with red is bomb. and food, of course, is always a great idea. and i love the small corner shots (some of my fave to do, too). also - i sent you a new banner for your sidebar. i think it'll fit better :) hope you are well.
